Special Kind of Something

Back to 2010, day 5th in December.

Yeay! It was my big brother's wedding! His name is Dio and he married Pepe, the woman he met when they're worked together in public accountant.

The wedding was held in Menara Peninsula Hotel, at 7 pm. For brief explanations, it use an international style, and I never attend that kind of wedding before, so, that was my very first time. The concept is that the groom and bride do not wear traditional clothes but tuxedo and long wedding gown that we usually see in western movies. The ceremony also different with the traditional one. There are chosen modern songs played as the groom and bride entered the wedding hall, cut the cake, wedding kiss, champagne toast (not real champagne, only sparkling grape), and bouquet throwing. The groom and bride mingled around the hall, see the guests, and giving chocolates to their closest friends instead of standing still in the wedding stage.

We also held 'Akad Nikah' and Tea Pai (which is Chinese traditional ceremony) that day. Since I consider this as a private matter, I'll only upload just a few photos :p
